I grew up in Massachusetts and always had a love for art, once I started my journey at Essex tech as a freshmen I had gained the passion for Graphic design and photography. Since then as a graduating senior I’ve grown as a Digital Media artist and started to find my own style of art and have my own personal branding, I used my name Sedona as inspiration for my logo and had drawn that common theme of Sedona, Arizona in my fine art illustrations as well.
About Me
Career In Field Essay
After Committing to Salem State, I plan to major in graphic design, fine art, and photography courses. While at Salem State I will commute and have the goal of achieving straight A’s to then transfer to SCAD my sophomore year in Savannah Georgia. During my time in college, I will freelance and work on commissions to pay for school such as advertising and photography work, and build my portfolio. My goal for my future career is to be a successful graphic designer and creative in the digital world and have gained enough skills to be a bigger fine artist to do larger pieces of work such as murals and stipple. I would like to work for a bigger tech company after college such as Google or a social media company to then gain experience and then freelance and work for myself in the design industry. I plan to grow my package design skills and videography to then be proficient in all areas of design so that I can be professionally trained and then hired for all accounts of design work. In the future, I also want to travel and live in Arizona in the canyons and have a positive impact on the community with my work as an artist. I want to have the goal as well to graduate with over a 3.5 in college and be a hard-working student in years to come to prepare for the workforce. While in the field of being a graphic designer, I want to have a big social media presence and have my work be advertised and seen by people who have the same creative mindset. While attending my first year at Salem State I want to start an art club so even if art isn't a student’s major of choice I would still want to have art as an outlet or option for students with that interest.
